What are your business hours?

 

We can take calls between 7AM and 8PM, 7 days a week!

How far in advance do I need to reserve?

 

The sooner the better, but last minute is possible, as long as we have availability. The last week of each month, and first week are the busiest time of year for movers in Montreal.

 

Can I switch my reservation date?

 

Yes, provided we have availability on the date you want.

Are you Insured?

 

Yes. We are insured with Northbridge Insurance for Damage and Cargo.

What is travel time?

 

Travel time is a standard charge in the moving industry. Typically 1 hour. The charge covers travel from our facility to your house, and travel from your house back to our facility. This is a 1 hour charge.

Can I help the movers load?

 

Yes. Mention to the crew leader that you’d like to help, and he will tell you the plan.

Do you move plants?

 

It depends on the size and distance of the move. Please mention it to us over the phone if you have a large plant collection.

Can I add an extra pick up location?

Yes. This is done at the hourly rate. Try and mention it to us ahead of time.

Can I hire your movers to load my truck?

Yes. Our crew will come properly equipped.

What exactly are packing services?

When we talk about packing, we are talking about packing your dishes, books, pictures, lamps, knick-knacks…This service is usually done the day before the move, or is handled by the client. If you have last minute packing, please let us know.

Can I leave my clothes in the drawers?

Most of the time, yes. If your dresser is solid, and not extremely heavy, we will wrap it, and move it with the clothes inside.

Do you always wrap furniture?

Yes. It is very important to wrap your wooden furniture in professional quality moving blankets. We wrap your mattresses and sofas in plastic at no extra charge.

Do you sell boxes?

We do. Please call us to discuss the options/pricing we have on boxes, tape, and packing paper.

Can you get rid of furniture I no longer want?

Yes. We can take most furniture items, clothes, kitchen products and books to local donation centers, with the exception of beds, sofas and appliances.

What can’t you move on your trucks?

It is against regulation for us to transport: Propane tanks, gas, fire extinguishers…
